Indications

 

For the treatment of mild-moderate infections caused by penicillin-susceptible strains, including tonsillitis, pharyngitis, scarlet fever, erysipelas etc. caused by streptococcus; Bronchitis, pneumonia, otitis media, sinusitis caused by pneumococcus and other soft tissue infections caused by sensitive staphylococcus aureus. This product is suitable for burgdorferi infection and for the prevention of rheumatic fever recurrence and infective endocarditis prophylaxis.

 

Usage and Dosage

 

Oral administration.

Adult:
Streptococcal infection: 118- 236 mg/time, and once every 6-8 hours. The treatment course is 10 days.
Pneumococcal infection: 236-472 mg/time. Once every 6 hours. The treatment course is prolonged for 2 days after defervesce.
Aureus infections, spirochete infection (fusospirochetal pharyngitis): 236-472mg/time and once every 6-8 hours.
It can prevent rheumatic fever recurrence: 236 mg/time and twice a day.
Prevention of endocarditis: 2 g by oral administration 1 hour before tooth extractions or upper respiratory tract surgery before surgery. Take another 1g 6 hours later (thedose should reduce to half for children below 27 kg weight).

Children: take according to weight, 2-9mg/kg/time. Once every 4 hours: Or 4-13 mg/kg once every 6 hours; Or take 5-18 mg/kg/time every 8 hours.
