White, or off-white crystalline powder.

【Indications】

For the treatment of septicemia caused by sensitive gram negative bacilli and lower respiratory tract infections, abdominal cavity and biliary tract infection, complex urinary tract infections, severe skin and soft tissue infections.  Especially for treatment of Immunodeficiency infection and infections in hospital induced by various drug resistance gram negative bacilli, and central nervous system infections by gram negative bacilli or pseudomonas aeruginosa.

【Usage and Dosage】

intravenous injection or intravenous infusion

Septicemia or lower respiratory tract infection, biliary tract infection: 4-6 g daily, in 2-3 times, for 10-14 days.

Urinary tract infection and severe skin and soft tissues infections: 2-4 g dialy in 2 time, for 7-14 days.

For some infections may hazard to human life, severe pseudomonas aeruginosa infection or central nervous system infections: it could increase to 0.15-0.2 g/kg body weight, in 3 times.

Infants: 300-100 mg/kg body weight daily, into 2-3 times.
