【Description】
White - whitish powder or crystalline.
【Indications】
For the treatment of serious diseases (as below) caused by sensitive bacteria (without strains of β-lactamase) which need hospitalization or patients that can not take medicine orally.
1. Hemolytic hammer chisel, pneumoniae vaccine, Staphylococcus aureus, or otitis media, sinusitis, pharyngiti and tonsillitis caused by haemophilus influenzae and other upper respiratory tract infection.
2. Genitourinary tract infections caused by Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis or Enterococcus faecalis.
3. Skin soft tissue infections caused by Hemolytic Streptococcus , Staphylococcus or E. coli.
4. Acute bronchitis, pneumonia and other lower respiratory tract infections caused by hemolytic streptococcus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus or Haemophilus influenzae bacillus.
5. Typhoid and leptospirosis.
【Usage and Dosage】
Intramuscular injection or diluted intravenous infusion administration. Adults: 0.5 ~ 1 g/time and take once every 6 to 8 hours. Children: 50 to 100 mg/Kg weight as daily dosage in seperate 3 to 4 times. Patients with severe renal damage need to adjust the dosage. Patients whose endogenous creatinine clearance rate is 10 ~ 30 ml / minute: take 0.25 ~ 0.5 g every 12 hours. Patients whose endogenous creatinine clearance rate is below 10ml / minute: take 0.25 ~ 0.5 g every 24 hours.
Hemodialysis can clean up this product, is give 1 g of amoxicillin after each hemodialysis. A combine with sulbactam in 2:1 can be used for serious infections, aults: take 2.0 g of this product and 1.0 g of sulbactam, dissolve with appropriate amount of sterile water for injection. Inject 150 ~ 200 ml of 5% of glucose solution by intravenous administration for once every 8 hours.
