Indications

 

1. Pregnancy termination drug, not suggested for solo use, should coordinate with mifepristone suitable for early pregnancy termination, especially suitable for high risk pregnancy like multi-abortion, uterine malformation, pregnant women after cesarean or in  lactation.

2. To prevent and cue postpartum hemorrhage caused by inertia uterine.

 

Usage and Dosage

 

1. Pregnancy termination drug, for early pregnant women whose menelipsis is 49 days, empty stomach or 2 hours after meal, take 200 mg mifepristone orally and fast for 2 hours for the first dose, and place 2 carboprost methylate suppositories (1 mg) on the posterior fornix on the third day morning. Or take 2 mifepristone tablets (25 mg) orally in the first day, take another tablet that night, then take 1 tablet every 12 hours, on the third morning, 1 hour after taking 1 mifepristone tablet (25 mg) orally, place 2 carboprost methylate suppositories (1 mg) on the posterior fornix. Rest in bed for 2 hours, supervise in OPD. for 6 hours, watch out for afteruse haemorrhage, gestational residual or other side effects.

2. For the prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage caused by inertia uterine. After delivery of baby, it is requested to place 2 carboprost methylate suppositories on the 1/3 front side of vagina for about 2 minutes.
